On August 22nd, Lan Minghao wins a silver medal for China in the Men’s Epee Team Final of Jakarta Asian Games .
Born in Hefei, Lan Minghao, a HFU student majoring in International Trade and Economics, started fencing when he was ten years old, and was selected into Anhui Provincial Fencing Team in 2010. He won his first team championship at the National Fencing Tournament in 2014. In 2015, on behalf of Hefei City, Lan won an individual championship in the First National Youth Games. One year later, he was admitted by the National Men’s Epee Team.
After his winning of the silver medal, Lan Minghao claims that he will further the training for the coming 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.
